Admission Procedure (Nursery to Class V)
Admissions from Nursery to Class V follow a simple, child-friendly and transparent process designed for ease and clarity for parents.
First-Come, First-Served Admissions
Admission for Nursery, LKG, UKG & Classes I to V is done strictly on a
First Come, First Serve basis.No entrance exam is required for these classes.
Seats are limited and get filled early; parents are advised to apply as soon as admissions open.
Age Eligibility (As per School & CBSE Norms)
For admission to TGS – The Gramodaya School, the child’s age will be considered as on 31st March of the year of admission (or as per the latest CBSE guidelines).
Elementary Stage (Ages 3 to 8 Years)
Nursery to Class II
Focus on foundational learning, play-based activities and early numeracy/literacy
Preparatory Stage (Ages 8 to 11 Years)
Classes III to V
Activity-based learning, concept clarity, skill development
Admission Process & Requirements
TGS – The Gramodaya School (CBSE Residential School)
At TGS, admissions from Class VI onwards are based on a fair and transparent entrance exam followed by document verification and fee submission. Below is the complete process explained in simple steps.
Admission Through Entrance Exam (Class VI Onwards)
- Admission from Nursery to Class V is done on First come and First Serve Basis.
Admission to Class VI and above is done only through the entrance exam.
The school conducts TGS N-TEP 1.0 (National Talent Exploration Program) every year.
Questions in the exam are based on the student’s current class syllabus (for example, Class V syllabus for admission to Class VI).

The child’s age is considered as on 31st March of the academic year.
Middle Stage (Ages 11 to 14 Years)

✔ Entrance exam begins from Class VI onwards (TGS N-TEP)
Secondary Stage (Ages 14 to 18 Years)
✔ Classes IX to XII (CBSE Senior Secondary)
✔ Future-ready curriculum with strong academic & career foundation
Merit List & Waiting List
For each class, a merit list of 50 students will be prepared.
Out of these:
Top 30 students will be offered admission.
Next 20 students will remain on the waiting list.
If any selected student does not take admission within the given time, the seat will be offered to the next student from the waiting list.
Important Dates
Exam Registration Starts: Month of December
Entrance Exam Result: Month of January
All qualified students must secure their seat by:
Submitting all required documents (list given below), and
Paying the First Installment of Fees as per the school fee structure.

Documents Required at the Time of Admission
Parents are requested to keep the following documents ready at the time of admission:
Duly filled Admission Form (signed by student and parents)
Original Birth Certificate
Aadhaar Card copies – Student and Parents
PAN Card copy – Parents
ABC / APAAR ID of Student
Passport-size photographs – 2 of the student and 2 of each parent
School Report Cards of Previous 2 Years
Original Transfer / Migration / School Leaving Certificate from previous school
Passport photocopy of student and parents (if available / applicable)
POI / OCI Card (if the child is a foreign citizen)
Medical History Form (format available online)
Parental Consent & Indemnity Agreement (format available online)
Certificate of Special Needs (if applicable)
All documents must be self-attested by parents where required.
Admission to Vacant Seats (After Entrance Exam)
After completing the entrance-based admissions, any remaining vacant seats will be filled through direct admission.
Parents can apply for such seats by filling the Online Admission Form available on the school website.
Admission will be subject to seat availability, eligibility criteria, and document verification.
